William Fowler
William Fowler is a patent engineer with considerable experience in the energy sector. William's academic background is in electronics engineering and electrical engineering. Over the course of his 14-year professional career, he developed and used many applications in the energy and offshore industries and has worked to learn and implement new digital ecosystems to improve existing technologies.

Prior to joining OBWB, Mr. Fowler was employed at Halliburton where he held numerous positions including: realtime optimization specialist, field test lead, drilling optimization specialist, engineer in technology development, and geopressure analyst. He expertly facilitated realtime well monitoring and geomechanical analysis of critical drilling and workover wells. Earlier in his career as an offshore seismic technician, he executed various projects using reservoir exploration technology.

Among William's notable achievements, he patented PCT/US2012/023111 “Systems and Methods for Modeling and Triggering Safety Barriers,” and successfully championed several additional O&G ideations. He initiated and implemented workflows for Saudi Aramco’s first Drilling Optimization Realtime Center, and developed a multi-disciplined integrative workflow and software environment that enables realtime collaboration and analysis of drilling data in Realtime Operation Centers.

William brings an impressive breadth of industry knowledge and experience to his work as a patent engineer. He is currently based at OBWB's Houston office where he assists with patent preparation and prosecution for domestic and international clients.
