Ran  Wang

Mr. Wang specializes in prosecuting foreign and domestic patents in the field of electrical engineering and software engineering. Mr. Wang has a broad range of technical expertise covering integrated circuit (IC) development, wireless communications, and microwave and electromagnetics.


Prior to joining Osha Bergman Watanabe & Burton (OBWB), Mr. Wang worked as an IC Verification Engineer at Microsoft Corporation (as a contractor) and Seagate Technology, developing chips for consumer electronics products and storage products, respectively. He also worked as a Wireless Systems Engineer at Alereon, Inc., a technology startup specialized in Ultra-wideband (UWB) communications. In his graduate and undergraduate studies, Mr. Wang conducted research projects in electromagnetic engineering and wireless communications. During his senior year in college, Mr. Wang, along with 3 teammates, was awarded “Second Place” and “Best Innovation Prize” for their project based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Zigbee wireless technology.  They were invited to present their project at the National Forum on College Students Innovation hosted by the Ministry of Education of China.
