Yuichi Watanabe Participates as Guest Speaker at WIPO GREEN's Symposium "IP & Green Tech"

Yuichi Watanabe joins fellow panelists to discuss the challenges and further developments of WIPO GREEN.

According to the Japan Patent Office Commissioner Kasutani Toshihide, "The role of intellectual property (IP) has become crucial in order to drive innovations and rapidly implement various green technologies for the benefit of society. IP offices around the world have therefore been working to advance the utilization of various technologies, including those for the environment, by appropriately protecting IP rights the driving force behind innovations. To this end, WIPO GREEN has been developed primarily by WIPO, an international organization, as an initiative for promoting the utilization of green technologies."
