Dr. Kameyama has experience in patent prosecution in the fields of electronics, optics, semiconductors including laser diodes, measurement equipment such as electron microscopes, and medical equipment/systems. Prior to joining Osha Bergman Watanabe & Burton (OBWB), he worked as a Japanese patent attorney at a patent firm in Tokyo where he practiced patent prosecution and invalidation searches in Japan.


Dr. Kameyama received his doctoral degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University, where he studied on an electron source used in ion propulsion systems in space. After finishing his graduate study, he worked for a private company in Colorado, United States for more than 10 years. While he worked as a Research and Development Engineer, he was engaged in product development in the fields of broad-beam ion source for material processing and manufacturing equipment of thin-film optical filters for telecommunication applications.
